With her long unicorn-like purple hair, RnB singer Justin Skye is set to launch her M.A.C. "iridescent highlighter" powder in soft purple on April 13, as reported in Elle. This collaboration which was announced on March 9 is a part of the makeup brand's "M.A.C. Future Forward" collection. The highlighter was said to cost for $27.
"I love to glow and it's important for me to have a good highlighter to brighten up," Justin Skye shares in an interview with Billboard. In the same interview, she shared that her highlighter collab with M.A.C. serves as an avenue to represent her purple hair which she says to be a part of her "identity" and "comfort zone." Justine has been recently hailed as a brand ambassador for hair care brand Dark and Lovely because of her lovely and gorgeous locks. The rising RnB singer was also reported to be working for a "VH1 Behind The Music" video related to her "8 Ounces" EP.
Other than Justine Skye, the spring M.A.C. collection also includes English singer Dua Lipa and K-pop singer-songwriter Lee Hi who will be unveiling their signature color statements as well, according to Hollywood Life. "Colour meets the cutting edge of sound. M·A·C teams up with three women shaking up the music industry with their passion, skill and style with MâAâC Future Forward," the brand announced in a press release as cited in the article.
Dua Lipa will be releasing a "multi-pearl" colored lip gloss on May 25 to be sold for $21 while Lee Hi will be releasing a "deep red matte lipstick" on June 29 to be sold for $17 in North America. International M.A.C. makeup fans can buy Justin Skye's "iridescent highlighter" in May, Dua Lipa's lip gloss in June and Lee Hi's matte lipstick in July.
