For the very first time after the much talked about surgery, Angelina Jolie caused tons of excited screams from the crowd at the 2015 Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday at The Forum in Inglewood, CA., on Saturday.
The 39-year-old "Unbroken" director, along with daughters Zahara, 10, and Shiloh, 8, brought a lot of fun at the awards show. Jolie, who accepted her award for Favorite Villain for her 2014 movie "Maleficent," delivered a poignant speech that echoed an inspirational message to the youth and fans of all ages, People reported.
"Different is good. So, don't fit," Jolie said as she reminded the audience to not be afraid of being "different." "Don't ever try to be less than what you are, and when someone tells you that you are different, smile and hold your head up high and be proud."
Jolie, also shared she, too, was never one to fit in with the crowd. However, the mom of six learned to embrace the fact that she's different, according to E! News.
"I was told I was different. And I felt out of place: too loud, too full of fire, never good at sitting still, never good at fitting in," she shared about her experiences when she was young, Daily Mail has learned.
Since Jolie delivered such an empowering speech, she concluded her discourse in a true villain fashion.
"Cause a little trouble. It's good for you," she ended her speech.
Meanwhile, other winners at the Nickelodeon fan-voted awards included: Emma Stone, Nick Jonas, One Direction, Selena Gomez, Liam Hemsworth, Jennifer Lawrence and Ben Stiller, among many others. Performers at the awards show included: Jonas, Iggy Azalea with Jennifer Hudson and 5 Seconds of Summer, who ended up taking a slime hit.
Jolie, who earned two Kids' Choice nominations for Favorite Villain and Favorite Movie Actress this 2015 as per Us Weekly, certainly inspired her fans with her moving and encouraging speech. Check out her speech below:
