Carrie Underwood's Pregnancy Means She Will Miss The 2015 Grammys

Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher recently announced that they are expecting their first child together and they couldn't be more excited. As the couple get ready to welcome their newest addition, they are making sure that they put their baby first.

During a recent interview with E! News, Underwood revealed that she won't be able to attend the 2015 Grammy Awards.

"I wish I could go to the Grammys, but travel's kind of out for me at this point. It's tempting, but I can't fly that far away this late in my pregnancy," said Underwood. "I'll be in my pajamas watching it from the comfort of my couch."

While that sounds very relaxing, the country singer joked that she might also just get dressed up for the occasion at home so she doesn't feel left out.

"You know, I should just get all dressed up anyways. I should get my hair and makeup done, and get a dress and watch it from my couch all dressed up like I'm there," said Underwood.

Not only will she be missing the show, but it looks like Underwood is bummed about missing Beyonce too.

"I can't help but always be envious in the best way of whatever Beyonce is wearing," said Underwood. "What she wears on stage especially. Whatever she's going to have on stage is gonna make all of us feel like we need to go to the gym immediately!"

However, Underwood revealed that she would be hitting the road this summer with her baby.

"I was gonna take some time off, but I got all of my baby ducks lined up in a row and was like, 'I'm kind of bored, so I'm gonna go write some more,'" said Underwood. "I have a few shows this summer that I'm really excited about. And I'm excited to see how a baby fits into bus life. We've had to go back and design a bus. I was calling (Lady Antebella) Hillary Scott and was like, 'What do you do with a baby on tour?'"

Underwood is in her last few weeks of pregnancy and she just wants the best for her baby boy.

The country singer revealed that her and her NHL player husband are having a hard time coming up with a baby name and can't compromise with each other.

"He keeps trying to push the name 'Bo' for our little guy," said Underwood during a recent radio interview. "I just won't have it. Bo Fisher? I don't know. I don't like it. He thinks of it like a bow and arrow."
