Unlike Taylor Swift, Rita Ora isn't getting her songwriting inspiration from her former flames.
The "Black Widow" singer, 24, spoke with Sunday Times' Style magazine recently about her well-documented breakups with high-profile beaus, Calvin Harris and Rob Kardashian.
And while Ora can easily admit that she has no trouble speaking out about a number of subjects, she won't be penning any hit singles based on her ex-boyfriends and failed relationships anytime soon.
"I don't think I care enough about them to write a song about them," she told Style magazine's John Harlow. "I will be unleashed but I know my limits."
The "Voice UK" judge and "Under Control" hitmaker Harris confirmed that they decided to end their relationship June last year. The 31-year-old then subsequently banned her from performing any of the songs he had produced for her upcoming album.
Ora recently did an acoustic rendition of "I Will Never Let You Down," a song she worked on with Harris, and noticeably altered the lyrics to "I might have let you down."
The "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress admitted to Style that it was her way of showing everyone that she isn't "ashamed" of the fact that things didn't work out with Harris.
"I interpreted it like that because I wanted people to see I wasn't ashamed," she revealed.
"It's normal for a 23-year-old to have a failed relationship, but the difference is, there are a lot of people watching. You know, it's life," she continued.
But it seems the London-based beauty has found another person to love in Ricky Hill, Tommy Hilfiger's aspiring rapper son whom she has been dating over the past few months. Recent reports revealed that the couple are now living together in Ora's home in London.
The "R.I.P." hitmaker may cross paths with her former beau in the near future, however, as they have both been nominated this year for a Brit award for Best Single. Harris, for last year's hit "Summer," while Ora is up for a Brit award for the song she co-wrote with and produced by her old flame, "I Will Never Let You Down."
Meanwhile, Ora's upcoming movie, "Fifty Shades of Grey," is set to hit theaters Valentine's Day.
