Missi Pyle, 42, made it clear that her "Gone Girl" co-actor Ben Affleck was aware that he would be seen fully naked in a shower scene with Rosamund Pike in the Golden Globe-nominated film.
"In a movie if they are like, 'Do you mind being nude, but we are not going to show it,' they are going to show it," Pyle said at the Audi's Globes Cocktail Party speaking to the New York Daily News.
In 2014, Affleck told MTV that there is indeed a "very brief nudity" in "Gone Girl" and the director told him he had to see the "naked underbelly" of his character Nick Dunne, the husband of Pike's character.
"Gone Girl" was nominated for four awards at the recently concluded 72nd Golden Globe Awards hosted by "Sisters" stars Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
For Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture- Drama, Pike was nominated along with "Wild" star Reese Witherspoon, "Cake" star Jennifer Aniston, "The Theory Of Everything" star Felicity Jones and "Still Alive" star Julianne Moore, who won the award.
David Fincher was nominated for Best Director but lost to "Boyhood" director Richard Linklater while Gillian Flynn was nominated for Best Screenplay but lost to "Birdman" screenwriters Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu Alexander Dinelaris, Armando Bo and Nicolás Giacobone.
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross were also nominated for Best Original Score for their work in "Gone Girl" but lost to Jóhann Jóhannsson of "The Theory Of Everything."
Meanwhile, Pyle joined "A Most Violent Year" star Jessica Chastain and "Tyrant" actress Moran Atias on the red carpet at the Audi Party at Cecconi's Restaurant in Hollywood.
Wearing a tomato-red chiffon pleated Burning Torch dress, Pyle told Hollywood Reporter her long dress "fits perfectly, and there's no big rush" to give it back to her fit model friend whom she borrowed it from.
Also starring in "Gone Girl" are 2015 Academy Awards host Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, Kim Dickens, Patrick Fugit, Carrie Coon and David Clennon among others.
