Ariana Grande revealed she "almost died" during her performance at Z100's Jingle Ball in a new Instagram clip she shared to her over 21 million followers.
Grande was performing her hit singles to the crowd at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday night when she almost saw her life flash before her eyes in a near death experience.
In the Instagram video and later a clip posted on Youtube, the 21-year-old, while wearing her signature sky-high heels, sashayed across the stage singing "Love Me Harder." As she made her way from one side to the other, she slipped on some confetti dangerously close to the edge of the stage.
"Woooo, girl, I almost died up here," she tells fans in the audience just after slipping.
"When u slip on confetti & almost die at Madison Square Garden," the "Problem" hitmaker wrote as caption to the video clip she posted online Saturday of the incident from Friday night's sold-out show.
Big Sean's lady love appeared to have been wiped out following her near-death experience as she also shared a snap following her performance lying in what looks to be the back seat of a car.
"After Jingle Ball the other night," she captioned the Instagram photo. "I slept 14 hours last night after barely sleeping all week & this is how I feel."
The video comes just days after it was revealed that Grande reportedly requests someone from her team carry her like a baby after demanding performances.
"Her new rule is that she has to be carried — literally carried like a baby — when she doesn't feel like walking," a source told Life & Style.
"She says that she doesn't want her precious feet to hit the floor," the insider added, who reportedly saw Grande demand to be carried by her staff while filming a music video and during rehearsals for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which aired Tuesday.
"Everyone was stunned," the insider told the website. "Ariana is such a diva."
But the "Break Free" singer hasn't exactly been secretive about this little quirk and has, in fact, documented the fact that she has staff members carry her around.
In an Instagram photo from December 2013, she called being carried off the stage her "post show ritual when my feet are broken."
She later shared another snapshot taken in March in which the diva is shown wrapped in a blanket and carried by a crew member as another person holds an umbrella over her.
"Long shoot day yesterday, couldn't walk or keep my eyes open by the time we finished," the singer wrote as caption to the snap, which was taken while she was filming a music video.
