The semi-finals of the 19th season of "Dancing With The Stars" aired Monday, eliminating Bethany Mota and Derek Hough and paving the way for next week's finale show for three other hopefuls, USA Today reported.
During the finals, the final four contestants had to perform twice, a Judge's Pick and Freestyle, in front of hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews, judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli as well as the viewers.
The final four pairs dancing for the win on Tuesday were YouTube vlogger Bethany Mota and Derek Hough, "Pretty Little Liars" actress Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy, "Duck Dynasty" star Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas, and "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" actor Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson.
During the Judge's Pick dance-off, Ribeiro and Carson led the pack with a score of 40/40 for their jive performance set to the tune of "369," according to Broadway World.
The pair was followed by Robertson and Ballas with a samba scored 38/40, while Parrish and Chmerkovskiy with another samba performance scored 37/40.
At the bottom were Mota and Hough with a jive performance that scored the lowest among the group at 36/40.
For the Freestyle Dances, on the other hand, all the pairs were scored a 40/40. Ribeiro and Carson danced to "Sing, Sing, Sing/Jump On It," while Robertson and Ballas managed to dance to the "Super Mario Brother Theme."
Parrish and Chmerkovskiy grooved to "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)," while Mota and Hough danced to "Revolution," according to Broadway World.
After the tally, Mota and Hough ended up at the bottom, falling short of the finale, and had to say their goodbyes.
