"Will & Grace" star Sean Hayes has married his longtime partner music producer and composer Scott Icenogle, CBS reports.
Hayes and Icenogle have been together for eight years and have officially sealed their partnership in a quiet wedding ceremony last week.
Hayes revealed the news by posting a photo of him and his partner on Facebook on Thursday, according to the New York Daily News.
The photo showed Hayes and Icenogle laughing and was captioned: "Here's a #TBT photo of Scotty and me getting married last week. Took us 8 years but we did it!" The actor did not offer any other detail about the wedding.
Hayes has been known to keep his personal life away from the public eye. His engagement was confirmed only a few weeks ago. People started speculating when he was seen on "The Talk" in October, wearing what appeared to be a gold wedding band.
A representative for Hayes confirmed the news to Rumor Fix on October 27, saying: "Sean Hayes and Scott Incenogle have been together for eight years. They are not married but they have been engaged for quite some time."
Hayes, who played the character of Jack McFarland in the 1998 comedy "Will & Grace," opened up about his sexuality in an interview with the Advocate four years ago.
He spoke a bit about Icenogle in the interview, saying: "I spend time with a special someone in my life. That's it. That's all I need. I don't need events. I don't do a lot. I live my life like an 85-year-old man. I'm just quiet. It's fantastic."
Apart from his iconic role on "Will & Grace," Hayes has acted on many shows including "Smash," "Up All Night" and "Sean Saves the World." He also starred in the recently cancelled CBS comedy "The Millers."
Hayes has also dabbled into production, according to the The Hollywood Reporter, and founded Hazy Mills. The outfit has produced successful shows like "Grimm" and "Hollywood Game Night."
