Jennifer Lawrence shows off her quirky side during an interview in New York about her upcoming film "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1," The Province reported.
The moment Lawrence stepped into the conference hall, she already showed off her playful side, bumping into co-star Josh Hutcherson on her way to her seat. During the rest of the interview, she didn't disappoint and continued to show off her personality when asked about her kissing scenes, singing on set, and being around co-stars.
On her kissing scenes with co-star Liam Hemsworth, Lawrence did not hesitate to share, "I ate some sandwich with mustard and tons of raw onion. It was delicious. Later, I said, 'By the way, I didn't brush my teeth. Sorry.' It was fair warning."
She also talked about a scene in the film where she had to sing, saying that singing in front of people was her greatest fear.
"I believe I sing like Gollum," she said with a laugh.
Throughout the interview, Lawrence also spent time teasing and joking around with Hutcherson and Hemsworth.
"I still see these guys way too much," she said with a laugh, sharing that all three of them shared a very close bond. "If all I had from this 'Hunger Games' experience was this friendship with Josh and Liam, I would still be the happiest person in the world."
Lawrence also expressed her hopes for the message Katniss, her character in the film, would bring to the younger generation.
"I hope that Katniss can inspire young people. It's important that this younger generation realizes how powerful their voice can be. I want to tell them that it's easy to follow the feet in front of you. It's a lot harder to speak out," she said.
When asked about what she thought "The Hunger Games" films' legacy will be like in twenty years, Lawrence just smiled and said, "We're still rich."
Lawrence, who is currently a spokesmodel for luxury brand Dior, was recently seen in Dior's Spring/Summer 2015 campaign, according to E! News.
"I really would not call myself a fashion icon. I would call myself somebody who gets dressed by professionals," Lawrence said when asked about her red carpet looks. "I would call me more of a monkey."
Lawrence's latest film, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1," is set to hit theaters Friday.
