Channing Tatum Talks Sofia Vergara’s Boyfriend Joe Manganiello's 'Magic Mike XXL' Nudity

Channing Tatum has said "Magic Mike XXL" is "a lot more fun" than the 2012 movie "Magic Mike" although "Dallas Buyers Club" star Matthew McConaughey did not reprise his role for the sequel.

One of the things Tatum said fans should expect from the sequel is the nudity of the 37-year-old "True Blood" alum Joe Manganiello who plays Big Dick Richie.

"We got Joe Manganiello naked as much as possible. Everyone in the world, you're welcome," Tatum said in a recent interview with Time magazine.

Manganiello was recently spotted at a West Hollywood restaurant with his 42-year-old girlfriend Sofia Vergara, who is known for her "Modern Family" role, Daily Mail reported.

Among Tatum and Manganiello's fellow "Magic Mike XXL" cast members are Matt Bomer, Donald Glover, Gabriel Iglesias, Adam Rodriquez, Stephen Boss and Kevin Nash.

Their female co-stars include, Amber Heard, Jada Pinkett Smith, Andie MacDowell, Rhoda Griffis and Jane McNeill. Both Michael Strahan and Elizabeth Banks are new cast members.

"Hopefully you're going to care about these guys, and then get to see a lot of ridiculous nakedness and stupidity," Tatum said.

For Jenna Dewan's husband, "Magic Mike XXL" is a "stripper odyssey" with "a traveling band of strippers." He said they had to show "the underbelly, the pitfalls and dangers" of being in the world of strippers in "Magic Mike" while in the sequel, they "kicked off a lot of the darkness."

Tatum is also gracing the cover of the Esquire magazine. In a cover story interview with the interview, he said "there are a lot of apologies, a lot of 'I'm sorry that ran into your chin' and 'Let me take my thigh off your neck'" during the "Magic Mike XXL" rehearsals.

For the movie, Tatum dedicated himself to a strict diet and rehearsal schedule with two daily dance practices, one by himself and one with his "Magic Mike XXL" co-actors.

Aside from being the lead actor, Tatum is also the producer and co-screenwriter of the sequel, which is set to hit theaters on July 1, 2015.
