"Parenthood" star Erika Christensen, who plays the role of Julia in the series is officially engaged to her cyclist boyfriend, Cole Maness.
The 32-year-old actress has not yet revealed details about their upcoming wedding and she has not yet been spotted with a ring but a source close to the celebrity confirmed the news, according to US Weekly.
Earlier this month, Christensen also spoke to the same publication to discuss the state of her relationship with Maness.
"My bike is my main form of transportation, so I've got a red clip-on taillight. Sometimes, my boyfriend and I do evening rides to the movies or grocery store," she said.
At that time, Christensen also revealed that Maness gave her a pocketknife and shared, "He said it's bad luck to give a knife as a gift and wanted me to buy it for a penny. I bought it with a kiss instead."
Meanwhile, Christensen was overhead gushing over her recent engagement among friends at Yellowtail Sunset in West Hollywood, New York Post's Page Six reported.
At that time, DuJour magazine's Jason Binn was at the same venue and overheard the conversation.
Christensen and Maness have been dating for two years now. They first met at a cycling event which she revealed during a previous interview with Genlux magazine.
"He knew who I was and I knew who he was so both of us were playing it cool and wouldn't talk to each other," she said.
After meeting each other for the first time, Christensen searched for Maness on Twitter, sent him a message and encouraged him to ask her out on a date, to which he obliged.
"Being willing to get hurt in love. I've been very willing to put myself out there. I've even given my number out to strangers. I've pursued people," she added.
As of late, Christensen is busy filming the last season of "Parenthood," a series that chronicles the life and struggles of a typical American family.
