Rapper Eminem has released the video for his new track "Detroit vs. Everybody," which features Dej Loaf, Trick Trick, Royce Da 5'9", Danny Brown and Big Sean, reports MTV.
The track is the second single from the emcee's latest album "Shady XV," a compilation to commemorate the 15th anniversary of his label "Shady Records." The two-disc compilation is set to be released on November 24 and contains old tracks by the rapper, as well as new songs by him and some of the artists on his label.
The first track released from the album was "Guts Over Fear," which featured Sia singing the refrain.
Paul Rosenberg, Eminem's manager, spoke about what prompted them to come out with a compilation for the label's anniversary.
"We want to get something out this year 'cause it's the 15th anniversary of the label and then it dawned on us that this would actually be the 15th project we'd be releasing, which just sort of lined up nicely," Rosenberg told XXL magazine in an interview.
Eminem and his team have been keen on promoting the upcoming record via social media as well as documenting cyphers or freestyle rap performances to support the compilation.
In a video of a cypher released on November 10, which has now been set to private, Eminem rapped about various topics including CNN anchor Anderson Cooper's sexuality and his dislike for "Born to Die" singer Lana del Rey, Billboard reports.
The line about del Rey, which followed the rapper's commentary about Cooper, said: "But I may fight for gay rights, especially if they dyke is more of a knockout than Jany Rice/Play nice? Bitch I'll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the pain sight of the elevator surveillance/'Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens."
It wasn't the first time Eminem spoke ill of a female singer or a celebrity. The rapper had taken jabs at Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Pamela Anderson and more, according to The Atlantic.
