French Montana On-And-Off Girlfriend Khloe Kardashian Posts Quote About Closure On Instagram On Lamar Odom's Birthday; Is The Former NBA Player Now Ready To Sign Divorce Papers?

Khloe Kardashian posted a photo of a quote about closure on Instagram Thursday, Nov. 6.

"Like time suspended, a wound unmended-you and I. We had no ending, no said goodbye. For all my life, I'll wonder why," read the quote. And though the 30-year-old reality TV star simply captioned the post with a purple heart emoji, a lot of people were quick to assume that the post was aimed at her estranged husband Lamar Odom who reportedly refuses to sign their divorce papers.

The speculation that Kardashian was actually referring to the former NBA player was further strengthened by the fact that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star posted the cryptic message on the day of the athlete's 35th birthday.

Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom in December 2013, but technically, the two are still husband and wife because the legal dissolution of their marriage has not been finalized.

Last month, a report by Us Weekly claimed that Kardashian has been unable to track down the professional basketball player to get him to sign the divorce papers.

"Khloe can't even get in touch with him right now," a source told Us Weekly at the time.

"He refuses to sign the divorce papers," added another tipster.

But a source recently told E! News that the former lovebirds are in contact with one another even though Odom has yet to sign the divorce papers.

A source also told Hollywood Life that the former NBA star was not running away from Kardashian. "He's not hiding from Khloe," the tipster said. "She could make [the divorce] official today. All she has to do is tell him and he will make it happen. But that conversation ain't happened."

"Khloe knows where he is," the source added. "She just hasn't made a move or told him flat out what she wants to do. Lamar wants her with him but only if she wants to be. It's got to be mutual. If not, he's cool with letting her go for good."

Kardashian and Odom tied the knot on September 27, 2009 - exactly one month after they met at a party for Odom's teammate Metta World Peace, People reported. At that time, Odom was still a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Their marriage began to fall into pieces when Odom was arrested on a DUI charge and reportedly faced substance-abuse issues, during the 2013 offseason.

On the July 13 episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Kardashian revealed that she knew Odom cheated on her while they were still together.
