Jessa Duggar is now a married woman!
The 21-year-old "19 Kids and Counting" star tied the knot with his 19-year-old fiancé Ben Seewald in front of more than 1,000 guests at the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Ark. Saturday, Nov. 1, People reported.
Jessa's maid of honor was her younger sister Jinger, and her bridesmaids included Jessica Seewald, Danielle Seewald, Michelle Seewald, Peyton Weiss, Anna Hackel, and Amara Query. Ben's best man was his best friend Dylan McMahan. His sibling Russ and Duggar's brothers Josiah and Joseph served as his groomsmen. Jordyn-Grace Duggar and Faith Seewald were the flower girls, according to Us Weekly.
"Ben is a man of integrity," McMahan, 24, told People of the groom. "I know he's going to honor his wife and put her first."
Surprisingly, Jessa and Ben did not share a kiss at the wedding ceremony after Pastor Mike Schadt introduced them as husband and wife, according to People.
Schadt then talked to the guests about the newlyweds' decision not to lock lips before the crowd, and asked Jessa's parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar to show the wedding guests a kiss.
"So, now you've seen a Duggar kiss," Schadt said.
"They wanted their very first kiss ever to be in private," Schadt told People. "It was important to the both of them."
"Ben is a peacemaker and a gentle, kind man," Michelle, 49, told People. "I am grateful for the way the Lord brings two people together. We love Jessa so much and are so happy for her."
The bride wore a blush-tone ball gown from Tesori Bridal in Fayetteville, Ark. Her wedding dress was an Allure design from the brand's Fall 2014 Modest collection, according to E! News. It features a scoop neck with cap sleeves, a fully beaded bodice of Swarovski crystals and pearls, and a customized tulle and satin skirt, as seen on this photo.
Ben proposed to Duggar with a 0.75-carat diamond engagement ring on Aug. 14 - just two and a half months before their wedding date, according to Us Weekly.
"God has written an amazing story through our courtship, and another chapter has just begun!" the couple said in a statement at the time. "We are thrilled to see what the future holds."
The wedding will be aired as part of the upcoming season of the TLC reality TV show "19 Kids and Counting."
