Luke Evans recently shared what he had to do for his recent film "Dracula Untold."
Aside from doing a lot of training, Evans told Fusion in a one on one interview he had to eat very cleanly without cheating and give up drinking alcohol.
For Evans, "Dracula Untold" is rougher than most vampire movies. He described his vampire character as a vicious warrior and a passionate, loving husband, which is a big departure from typical vampire film and TV characters.
"He's a husband and he is a father and he is a leader of people and a lot of the things that happen in his life are because of the love he has for his family," the 35-year-old actor pointed out.
"It's an original story and it's about pulling apart the man named Dracula, and looking at the man behind the legend," explained Sarah Gadon, who plays Mirena, the wife of Evans' "Dracula Untold" character, Vlad.
"Luke Evans is a hot vampire," the 27-year-old actress also said of her "Dracula Untold" leading man and described the film as sexy.
In another interview with MTV, Gadon shared she just had so much fun working with Evans, who he described as the perfect leading man for her so she would "honestly sign up for anything that he's going to be a part of."
As for what should viewers expect from their movie, the actress simply said, "They could go back in time, they could go into the future, they could stay contemporary."
During the "Dracula Untold" premiere held at AMC Loews 34th Street 14 in New York, Gadon wore a sheer black lace dress with black pointed stilettos while her leading man was in a three-piece olive green suit paired with a beige shirt, Daily Mail reported.
Hitting theaters on Oct. 11, Saturday, "Dracula Untold" also stars Dominic Cooper, Art Parkinson, Charles Dance, Diarmaid Murtagh, Paul Kaye, William Houston, Noah Huntley, Ronan Vibert and Zach McGowan among others.
