Ryan Murphy is now a father of two little boys!
Murphy and his husband David Miller welcomed a baby boy via surrogate Friday, Oct. 3, the 48-year-old "American Horror Story" and "Glee" co-creator confirmed to E! News.
"His name is Ford. I brought him home today from the hospital and Logan gave him kind of a side eye," he said at the "American Horror Story: Freak Show" premiere in Hollywood at the TCL Chinese Theatre Sunday night, Oct. 5. "For 21 months, Logan has been the light of my life and now there are two."
"It's amazing to be two dads and we have a wonderful surrogate," Murphy added. "It's so uplifting and I've enjoyed sharing our story with young gay families."
The Primetime Emmy-winning director went on to share that the delivery went great. "It was an amazing birth," Murphy revealed to E! News. "37 weeks and a day and he was a chunker, 7 lbs 13 oz. David and I were there and pulled him out and cut the cord and cried and it was pretty amazing. And now look at me I'm crying again."
Murphy, who was previously in a long-term relationship with director Bill Condon, married photographer Miller in 2012. And on Christmas Eve that year, the couple welcomed their first child, also a boy, named Logan Phineas, via surrogate, according to Daily Mail.
"American Horror Story: Freak Show" is set to premiere Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on FX. The much-awaited series stars Sarah Paulson, Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Michael Chiklis, Wes Bentley and John Carroll Lynch, among many others.
Lynch, 51, is playing the season's main antagonist named Twisty the Clown, and his portrayal of the character is so scary that even Murphy himself is terrified of it.
Murphy said that he is worried about viewers being "too afraid" of Lynch's character. "It's heart-stopping what he does. I'm worried," he told BuzzFeed. "I'm worried that people are going to have cardiac arrests. The clown's intro in the first episode is ... even I was terrified of it. It's brutal."
