Following "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt, Sarah Silverman recently made a guest appearance on "Saturday Night Live," where she impersonated Joan Rivers who passed away in September.
Channelling the late comedienne and "Fashion Police" host, Silverman wore a blonde bob and red fur.
In her sketch, Silverman hosted a Comedy Central roast live from heaven joined by dead celebrities Richard Pryor, Steve Jobs, Freddie Mercury and Eva Gardiner, EntertainmentWise has learned.
In 2009, the roasters of "Comedy Central Roast of Joan Rivers" included comediennes Kathy Griffin, Whitney Cummings and Melissa Rivers but not Silverman.
But in 2013, as one of Rivers' comedienne friends, Silverman was the first guest of Rivers' weekly internet show "In Bed With Joan," which also guested South Korean-American comedienne Margaret Cho and "Fashion Police" hosts Kelly Osbourne and George Kotsiopoulos."
Returning to "SNL" two decades after she was fired from the show, Silverman also opened the show with a hilarious monologue and sat on the lap of an unsuspecting female audience member, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Silverman is currently dating "Masters of Sex" actor Michael Sheen. In the second season of the show, the 43-year-old comedienne played the recurring role of a palm reader named Helen, who was also the former lesbian lover of Betty played by Barbara Sanderson.
In "Masters of Sex," Sheen plays real-life sex researcher from the 1950s, Dr. William Masters, opposite Lizzy Caplan as Virginia Johnson and Caitlin Fitzgerald as Libby Masters.
Sheen also appeared on the 2010 films "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" and "Tron: Legacy" and the 2011 Woody Allen film "Midnight in Paris" and in four episodes of the NBC show "30 Rock."
While she admitted she always watches "Masters of Sex," Silverman she made sure she was never on set while her boyfriend was filming sex scenes on the show, Heavy has learned.
Before Silverman, Sheen dated Rachel McAdams, who just broke up with Eva Mendes' boyfriend Ryan Gosling at the time.
