British model Liberty Ross has finally opened up following her ex-husband's alleged cheating with "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart, two years ago.
In an interview with Grazia, Ross explained, "The most valuable thing I can share is the importance of living in truth. Sometimes, facing those truths can actually be your worst fear. Trusting your gut is always the best thing - no matter what people around you insist you should be doing or saying or thinking. Only you know and once you live in truth, your heart is completely free."
As of late, Ross is already in a steady relationship with music producer Jimmy Iovine but this does not mean that splitting from Sanders was easy, according to E! News.
In a separate interview with Vanity Fair, Ross talked about the kind of pain she felt when her then husband came clean about his infidelity.
"It was horrible. It was really the worst. I have no words to describe what we went through. But I think, for me, something always has to completely die for there to be a rebirth. And I feel I'm going through a rebirth," she explained.
Despite the tragic heartbreak she experienced not so long ago, the 36-year-old model admitted that she has already learned the art of forgiveness, the Daily Mail noted.
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Ross explained, "No life is perfect, we all have our problems and issues and I believe that it's good to be true to who you are. People need to learn to forgive. I have no problem with anyone involved."
Ross and Sanders finalized their divorce on July 23, 2014 but they continue to share join custody over their two children, Skyla, 10 and Tennyson, 8.
Talking about motherhood, Ross, who gave birth to Skyla when she was only 25, explained, "I was only 25 when I had my first, so I really didn't know what I was doing. I'd just moved to LA, I didn't know anyone and I was breastfeeding on the hilltop kind of thinking, 'Wow, what happened?'"
