Now this is surprising! Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa who have been nothing but publicly affectionate toward each other are taking a bullet train to splitsville.
The lovely couple who tied the knot just 14 months ago is heading for a split, with Rose filing for a divorce this week, Us Weekly has learned.
The 30-year-old model reportedly cited irreconcilable differences as the main reason behind her bold move to legitimately split from the 27-year-old rapper and singer-songwriter, born Cameron Jibril Thomaz.
Aside from divorcing her husband, Amber Rose also demands full custody of their son, Sebastian "The Bash" Taylor Thomaz, whom she gave birth to just February last year.
On the other hand, the rapper can get visitation rights as stated in the documents.
Previous reports said Khalifa and Rose dated for more than a year before the former dropped the proposal for a lifetime of union in March 2012.
They had signed a prenuptial agreement, which obviously addresses the model's terms for her spousal support, though she is reportedly asking Khalifa to pay for her attorney's fees, noted Los Angeles Times.
Rose's filing comes amid a series of speculations and rumors that she has been cheating from Khalifa with Mariah Carey's ex-husband, Nick Cannon, reported TMZ.
Furthermore, insiders claim that the breakup is actually a bitter one because infidelity may have been involved.
On Tuesday, Rose tweeted a cryptic message on Twitter saying, "Reliving that moment over and over and over......smh."
The model, who dated Kim Kardashian's now husband Kanye West from 2008 to 2010, also shared a nude photo of herself lying in bed.
Khalifa also tweeted a meaningful message post-split.
"There are no mistakes," he wrote. "Everyone deserves to be loved... Embracing the things that make you you will in turn make others better... Nothing but positive energy."
Meanwhile, Nick Cannon, who has been dragged into the picture since breakup rumors surfaced between Rose and Khalifa slammed the cheating speculations and insisted that he did not trigger the couple's divorce.
Cannon even claimed that he only found out about Rose's marital woes through her lawyers last week when she signed on as a client of the "America's Got Talent" host.
