Meredith Vieira's daytime talk show premiered on Monday, September 8 and so far, she has already sat down with some of the biggest names in the industry.
On Wednesday, September 10, "Fantastic Four" actress Jessica Alba graced "The Meredith Vieira Show" where she talked about her life-long battle with her insecurities.
"My teens and my 20s I just wasn't sure of myself and I was always kind of insecure and I always felt I needed to apologize for myself. After I became, first of all, 30 and being a mom of two, I just sort of came into myself as a woman and now I have a company," Alba said.
Alba was of course talking about the company she put up called The Honest Company, according to US Weekly.
The stunning actress admitted that she was always insecure of the fact that she didn't go to college. "I was always also insecure about not going to college and I always felt I wasn't smart enough. I feel better now especially after 30, it's crazy what happens."
Meanwhile, Alba's The Honest Company is set to make $150 million this year, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Forbes also confirmed that the company is worth just under $1 billion in advance of a potential IPO.
Meanwhile, Vieira's star-studded lineup throughout the entire week earned her relatively good ratings.
Prior to the show's premiere episode on Monday that featured "American Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez, Vieira dished on what people may expect with her talk show.
"I use that word 'authenticity' and I think that's the keyword with an audience. I think that they can smell a fake a mile away... not that the shows that have failed are because the people who front them are phony, but I think that they want 'real,' and they want to connect with somebody," Zap2It noted.
