'Walking Dead' Season 5 SPOILERS: Rick Grimes Teaches Carl The Importance Of Vigilance In AMC's New Exclusive Promo; Secret To Ending The Zombie Outbreak To Be Realized This Season?

"The Walking Dead" Season 5 is going to be one hell of a fast-paced adventure for the remaining characters. However, it appears that some of them will not be making it out alive when the season wraps up. AMC's new trailer for the show that is scheduled to return this fall hints that major deaths will come Rick and co.'s way.

Just last week, AMC has released the official poster for the upcoming fifth run of the zombie apocalypse-themed series. The tagline of the poster "Hunt or Be Hunted" seems to hint that things will somehow take a different turn for the remaining human characters. The poster was followed up by an image of Tyreese and Sasha who are possibly on the lookout for someone, noted IGN.

This week, AMC is giving avid viewers more reasons to watch out for the return of the series with an all-new trailer that tells a lot of things about what lies ahead, and unfortunately it points out to major deaths.

The trailer shows a scene that hints that this could be Glenn's last season. Rumors that his time is up surfaced since the San Diego Comic Con panel of the "Walking Dead" cast, and even fans who are familiar of the comic series also have an idea on what is to come for him, according to Huffington Post.

On the other hand, spoilers also suggest that a significant portion of the living are now more determined to murder and steal just so they can survive.

In the all-new sneak peek, Rick Grimes could be seen sharing a father-and-son moment with Carl, teaching the latter of the importance of constant vigilance. Could he be planning a way out of the Terminus? It's not very likely but ScreenRant claims that Rick and his band of survivors will soon enough be heading for Washington with scientist Dr. Eugene Porter, who is said to hold the secret to ending the zombie outbreak.

Other interesting things that the new trailer hints include Daryl and Carol's reunion and Michonne's impressive double kill with the help of Carl.

"The Walking Dead" Season 5 is set to premiere on Oct. 12 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
