"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe pled guilty to four counts of fraud after scamming banks and making fraudulent claims on their taxes.
Following the news, multiple sources revealed that there is a huge possibility that she will face up to 35 years imprisonment, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.
If this were to be true, Teresa's marriage to Joe might be in great jeopardy. The couple may eventually decide to divorce and it's highly likely the "RHONJ's" home network, Bravo, will fire her from the show, the same publication reported.
In an article published on OK! Magazine's September 15 issue, it has been revealed that, "An examination of her plea agreement reveals Teresa could be staring down a whopping 35 months in prison when she is sentenced on September 23rd."
"On top of that hefty maximum sentence, says Florida criminal lawyer and former US attorney, Chris Mancini, Teresa could be on the hook for $1 million in fines."
Mancini later on explained, "This is a very tough plea agreement, and I think the judge is going to go hard on her. She'll probably receive a substantial sentence."
Meanwhile, Teresa's husband, Joe, who took the greater blame may be sentenced to 37 to 46 months imprisonment, NJ noted.
The couple previously pled guilty to 41 counts of bankruptcy, bank and mortgage fraud and several other crimes back in March, the same publication revealed.
On the latest episode of "Real Housewives of New Jersey," Teresa's friend and co-star Amber finds out about the case and promises to not reveal any information to Teresa and Joe's children, according to US Weekly.
"Out of respect for you and Victoria, I will never say anything."
Teresa meanwhile shocked with how things turned out said, "I can't believe that this is my life."
