Fans of "The Big Bang Theory" can no longer wait for the show's upcoming eighth season and more and more spoilers are being revealed to date.
Just recently, a series of photos were released giving fans a direct insight on what they can expect this season.
On one of the photos, Sheldon Cooper, played by Jim Parsons, was photographed at a police station. This prompted fans to ask, "What exactly was he doing there?"
In another photo, Sheldon was photographed without his pants on and although this isn't the first time he's gone commando on television, fans can't help but wonder, what's the reason behind him going pants-less this time around.
Penny, played by Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, obviously had a haircut in real life and this means that she will also reprise her role but with short hair. What exactly does this mean for her character is something fans will also find out in the next couple of weeks, according to TV Line.
Meanwhile, the show's first episode this season, which will air on September 22, is entitled, "The Locomotion Interruption."
In this particular episode, Penny will have a breakthrough change after she decides to quit her acting career for good. She will then enter the world of medicine and will work as a pharmaceutical representative for Bernadette's company, Christian Post noted.
Amy and Leonard will also go on an unscheduled road trip to pick up Sheldon who previously went on a journey all on his own.
The show's home network, CBS, previously released the episode's logline, "Leonard and Amy take an unexpected road trip to Arizona to pick up Sheldon. Meanwhile, Penny interviews for a job at Bernadette's company, and Howard is weirded out by Stuart's relationship with Mrs. Wolowitz."
As for Sheldon and Amy, last season, the couple finally exchanged their much-awaited kiss, but this does not mean their relationship will go much further this season, IBTimes reported.
"We're always moving them forward in baby steps. They're on the same trajectory that they've been on since they met, and that is she continuing to drag him along the relationship, whether he wants to admit that he likes it or not," Steve Molaro explained.
