Chris Pratt surely knows what to do when something's a bit off. On Wednesday, Sept. 3, he threw the first pitch at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Ill., but somehow messed up. Fortunately, the adorable "Parks and Recreation" star made up for it by singing for everyone at the stadium, Us Weekly has learned.
Anna Faris' husband was in town filming his NBC comedy series when he was tasked to throw the first pitch during a Cubs game.
However, the French braiding hunk may have skipped practicing for the big day so when it was time for him to throw the first pitch, the ball wildly bounced outside of the batter's box.
But then again, given that he's such an adorable and charming comedian-actor, no one really cared that he missed the home plate, noted Huffington Post.

"Of the four sports I played, as maybe you could have picked up by my first pitch today, baseball was my fourth best sport," the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor explained later on to Cubs announcers Len Kasper and Jim Deshaies.
Deshaies even poked fun at the actor by telling him that in spite of his poor baseball playing skills, he managed to land a role in "Moneyball."
Pratt then responded with a cheery explanation, saying, "Luckily he was a guy who had an arm injury and didn't have to throw the ball that often."
During the broadcast, Pratt also explained why he opted to wear a baseball cap with "Groot" on it instead of the Cubs jersey's matching hat, according to Chicago Tribune.
"Groot is a character in 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' but also a local waste management company," he said. "So I'm representing both Chicago and the movie the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' at the same time with the same hat."
To make up for his botched first pitch, the 35-year-old television and film actor took it to himself to serenade the crowd with "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during the seventh inning stretch.
