Scarlett Johansson has given birth to her first baby with fiancé Romain Dauriac on Thursday, Sept. 4, Us Weekly has learned.
After months of expecting and waiting, the "Lucy" star finally welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Rose Dorothy, her rep confirmed to ABC News via the Associated Press the same day she successfully gave birth to the healthy baby.
The actress' spokesperson, Marcel Pariseau, revealed that the "mother and daughter are doing well."
Pariseau then added that Johansson and Dauriac are seeking privacy for their child.
Both are supporters of the No Kids Policy, which is basically a celebrity effort to keep famous people's kids out of the public eye.
Throughout her pregnancy and despite her crammed filming schedule, the 29-year-old "Avengers: Age of Ultron" actress managed to keep a low profile. She was last spotted stepping out in New York City in July sporting her fresh pixie hairdo.
In mid-August, the "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" star debuted her baby bump as she stepped out for some ice cream.
In an interview with Vogue, Johansson shared that keeping a romantic relationship going is easier with a non-actor partner just like her French journalist beau, Romain Dauriac.
"It is [easier], but it's more than that," the actress said of her groom-to-be. "We do different things. He's in the whole art-scene world. So it's nice, because we can enjoy each other's worlds, but we don't have our crazy conflicting schedules and all that other stuff to contend with."
The twosome got engaged in September 2013.
"I'm very happy. Being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and really savor," Johansson told People back in March when it was already confirmed that she and Dauriac are expecting.
If ever the lovely couple will exchange wedding vows soon, it won't be the first for Johansson, who was previously married to "Green Lantern" actor Ryan Reynolds for two years. They divorced in 2010.
