Lea Michele may appear in the upcoming fourth season of "American Horror Story: Freak Show," Christian Today reported.
The appearance of the 28-year-old singer-actress, who is best known for her role as Rachel Berry on the Fox musical dramedy "Glee," has not been confirmed yet, but she had already expressed her interest in joining FX's horror anthology series when she appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" last March.
"[I would star in a 'Glee' spinoff], unless he wants to put me in 'American Horror Story,'" the Golden Globe-nominated actress told Degeneres of her intention to join the cast of the show, which was co-created by Ryan Murphy.
"I know what the theme is for next year, and I'm in. So, if he'll have me ... at least, maybe for one episode. Let's start that campaign," Michele added in the interview.
The sixth and final season of "Glee" does not premiere until Spring 2015, so Michele would probably have some time to film some scenes for "American Horror Story: Freak Show," International Business Times speculated.
Though there has been no official word yet on whether she will be part of the upcoming season of "American Horror Story," Michele's guest role in another FX series - "Sons of Anarchy," may not be only for one episode.
Michele will play Gertie, "an empathetic truck stop waitress and single mother, who connects with Gemma during a difficult time," in the in the seventh and final season of Kurt Sutter's crime drama series. Filming for her supposedly one-time guest gig on the show went so well, that she may be back for more, E! News reported.
"We love her," show director Paris Barclay told E! News late last month at BAFTA's annual pre-Emmys tea party at the SLS Hotel. "We're trying to find a way to bring her back."
"Her acting was completely naturalistic," added Barclay who is also a director for "Glee."
"Sons of Anarchy" Season 7 will premiere on Sept. 9 with an hour-and-30-minute episode, while "American Horror Story: Freak Show" is set to debut on Oct 8.
