Still talking about those flawless faces and hairstyles that so elegantly graced the red carpet at last night's Emmy Awards?
Jessica Scantlin, Blushington's Head Makeup Artist and Chaz Dean, Celebrity Hairstylist and Founder and Creator of WEN Hair and Body Care, have generously offered tips on how to recreate their statement-making looks for yourself!
Get The Look: Blonde Bombshell, Heidi Klum
"I honestly cannot think of one single time Heidi has had a bad red carpet moment," Jessica said. Neither can we! Heidi always seems to know how to "make it work."
"Monday night at the Emmy's she went with a fresh, elegant yet a little retro vibe," the makeup artist said. "Her choices of soft peaches and the definition around her eyes are always my favorite."
"Heidi mostly opts for a white liner on the waterline to really make her eyes pop. To get the look, add a highlighter over the cheekbones and use a white pencil on the inside, along with soft browns and peaches around the eye and in the crease," Scantlin instructed. We love Sephora's Nano Eyeliner in Pure White ($5), along with illuminators from Benefit ($26), NYX ($8), and NARS ($30).
"I also love her barely there brows as well. Her almost white/peach lip you can do with something similar to Kevin Aucoin Evermore Matte Lipstick ($33, shown above). Everything about her makeup compliments her dress and whole look," Jessica explained.
"She has a little bit of drama on her upper lids but nothing overwhelming."
"In order to recreate her tousled waves, use a styling crème such as WEN Styling Crème, to help protect hair from heat," Dean suggested.
"Once hair is dry, he would wrap her hair around the curling wand away from her face, once you release- tug the ends so that it doesn't give too much of a curl and has a softer more natural edge," Chaz explained.
