Nicki Minaj may have recently suffered a wardrobe malfunction at this year's MTV Video Music Awards but the "Anaconda" singer made sure to address the mishap as soon as she could.
On her way to the post-awards show bash, Minaj "yelled" to reporters and said, "You all know I had a wardrobe malfunction."
Earlier that night, the "Pills N Potions" songstress was more pleasant at addressing the controversy.
In an interview with US Weekly, she said, "It felt amazing to open the show. We ran out of time getting the dress zipped up."
Multiple sources previously claimed that Minaj wouldn't have gotten on stage on time if she focused on zipping the black tight dress she wore during her performance of "Bang Bang" with Jessie J and Ariana Grande, The Independent reported.
Another insider meanwhile explained, "She could never get into that dress. During the dress rehearsal she did the number numerous times and could not make it into the dress zipped up even once. I've no idea why she didn't just decide to wear something else. She just didn't have the time to change from one outfit into another, there was no way."
Meanwhile on Instagram, Minaj posted a lengthy message addressing her zipper trouble, 360 nobs noted.
"God is good. As long as a nipple didn't come out to play, I'm fine. Love my team. CASPER, Rushka, Adam, Oscar, Joyce, Gee...Many more to name but they're all winners! No weak links. There's no greater feeling than having ppl who inspire u and who work passionately and relentlessly to get the job done. The myx is starting to make me feel real good right now. Thank u to Slim."
Meanwhile, loyal fans of Minaj supported her through the issue. One instagram follower @daunshay wrote, "you're a classy lady @nickiminaj you handled it well!
