Eminem is currently working on a new album entitled "Shady XV."
After a three-year hiatus, the Grammy-winning rapper released "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" in 2013, which will now be followed by yet another exciting range of songs in "Shady XV", according to Belfast Telegraph.
News of Eminem's upcoming album and title made headlines after the "Slim Shady" singer performed at his hometown in Detroit on Saturday, wearing a "Shady XV" shirt.
The words "Black Friday" were also previously posted on his site, causing fans to speculate that the rapper's album may be released a day after America's thanksgiving.
Eminem has now confirmed the news via Twitter where he wrote, "Yes it's official... SHADYXV Black Friday."
Other than the upcoming release of his album, Eminem has several other things to celebrate. His new song, "Guts Over Fear" featuring Sia has finally been released.
The track will be featured on the soundtrack for Denzel Washington's film "The Equalizer," which will make it to theaters this coming September 26, Just Jared noted.
Other than this, the rapper recently completed his "The Monster" mini-tour alongside "Diamonds" singer Rihanna. Towards the end of the show, both artists participated in ALS' Ice Bucket Challenge.
The musical duo was on stage when they decided to take on the famous ice bucket challenge, according to Rolling Stone.
"I knew this sh*t was coming, but-tonight? Detroit, what do you think? Should I do it? I'm from the islands; I don't do this ice sh*t! This ice sh*t doesn't work for me," he said.
Of course, in the end, Eminem accepted the challenge after he was nominated by his good friend Dr. Dre. The latter also nominated Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg to take on the challenge.
"I gotta admit it was a little bit shocking. Lamar accepted the challenge and passed it on to Serena Williams, Ellen DeGeneres and Samuel L. Jackson," Dr. Dre said.
