The "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge" has gotten a little too personal between 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather when the former challenges the latter to do an "ALS/ELS Challenge" instead, Daily Mail first reported.
Who else has not done the "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge?" Hollywood stars and television personalities have already took a plunge in the ice cold water for Lou Gehrig's disease awareness, and for the most part millions and millions of dollars have already been raised for the advocacy.
In a twist of the trendy challenge however, 50 Cent - otherwise known as Fiddy, Boo Boo, and Interscope - has called on to professional boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. to do a simpler dare: to read a full page from any Harry Potter book.
In a video the American rapper uploaded on Instagram, he singled out Floyd's name to do an "ASL/ESL Challenge" in exchange for $750K to the charity of the five-division world champ's choice.
"Floyd will you except my ALS/ESL CHALLENGE: I will donate $750k to a charity of your choice, If you can read a full page out of a Harry Potter book out loud without starting and stopping or ******* up. lmao," the "In Da Club" hit maker captioned his post.
Though the main goal of donating cash for the awareness of the neurodegenerative illness (ALS) of Lou Gehrig's disease in exchange for the accomplishment of the dare seems fine, it is still clear that the strain in the rapper's relationship with the athlete hasn't subsided in the slightest, noted ContactMusic.com.
Aside from not doing the ice bucket dare in the video prior to nominating Mayweather to do the challenge, the 39-year-old recording artist even voiced out some profanity towards the end of the video.
"This is a special ALS/ELS challenge for you Floyd," the hip hop star said in the clip. "If you could read one full page of a 'Harry Potter' book ... I'll give $750,000 to whatever charitable organization you want to," 50 Cent said in the video.
"F--- the bucket of ice, man," he added while throwing a bucket of water not over himself but into his backyard, according to E! News.
And as though it wasn't enough, Fiddy continued to slam Mayweather by posting a snap of the boxer on Instagram with the caption, "DAMN I CAN'T READ THAT WHOLE PAGE NOW. F-ck you 50, Lmao."
A couple of hours later, the rapper uploaded another video this time explaining that if the 37-year-old can accomplish his dare, Jimmy Kimmel will put it on his show.
He then added another disparaging comment by saying, "We don't wanna put pressure on you.we know you can't pronounce those words in the 'Harry Potter' book, so we gonna let you read 'The Cat in the Hat.'"
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is yet to respond to 50 Cent's challenge as of late.
