"Nashville" star Hayden Panettiere recently took on ALS' ice bucket challenge, but unlike other celebrities, the would-be mom nominated her unborn child to take on the same task.
Of course, the entire nomination was just a joke, but it still proves how this young and beautiful star can be witty and fun-loving despite her serious character on the hit series.
On August 20, Panettiere's "Nashville" co-star, Derek Hough, posted a video of Panettiere accepting the said challenge via his Instagram account, according to US Weekly.
He wrote, "Couldn't figure out how to post it on @haydenpanettiere twitter. So I'm posting it for her. Hayden shortly went into labor after this... Jus kidding," he wrote.
In the video, Panettiere was featured wearing comfortable leggings paired with a loose-fitting t-shirt. The actress' growing baby bump is also noticeable throughout the clip, Canoe reported.
"I accept my ALS Challenge. I renominate Kacey Musgraves --- you're not getting out of this, Wladimir Klitschko, and my unborn child," the 24-year-old said.
After Hough poured an entire bucket of ice water on the star, Panettiere jumped and down and wanted to curse at some point. She confirmed, "Yup, that's cold!"
Meanwhile, Panettiere recently confirmed that her role on "Nashville" as country singer/superstar Juliette Barnes, will also be expecting a baby next season, Taste of Country noted.
Such news somehow calmed fans who were wondering how Panettiere could hide her growing baby up after she announced she was expecting her first child with fiancé Klitschko.
As of late though, no news yet as to who will be Barnes' baby's dad and that's something fans need to watch out for this coming third season.
Last season, Barnes decided to cheat on her boyfriend Avery during a drunken night with Jeff Fordham.
"Nashville" is set to return to ABC this coming September 24 at 10 p.m.
