It looks like following her Twitter rant Kendall Jenner is still offended by the waitress who accused her of throwing money at her. So much so that the lawyers for the 18-year-old "Keeping up with the Kardashians" season 9 star has sent a cease and desist notice to former "Skins" actress Blaine Morris demanding that she print an "appropriate retraction and sincere apology."
According to E! News, the lawyers want Morris to retract her words from the tweet that allegedly formed the basis for an August 10th story published by the New York Post story.
The article claimed that Jenner and good friend Hailey Baldwin dined at a New York restaurant, and left without paying because they were refused alcohol service. In turn the model left without paying and when the server ran after her to pay her bill Kendall then threw money at Morris.
Following the alleged incident on August 5th, Blaine Morris tweeted, "That horrible moment you chase a Kardashian down the street because she forgot to pay her bill to be thrown money in your face."
While Baldwin's rep denied the incident Kendall Jenner tweeted, "These rumors r absolutely ridiculous! I would never throw money in anyone's face or act that disrespectfully. I was raised better than that."
She added, "Said it once and I'll say it again, don't believe everything you read!"
Despite her personal denial of the rumors, Jenner's lawyer, Martin Singer sent out the cease-and-desist letter to Morris and alleged that she was the source of the "false and fabricated Statements" used by the Post and called both her statements and tweet "completely false, fabricated and defamatory."
The letter read, "As you know, when you waited on my client at Mercer Kitchen last week, there was no issue with service whatsoever."
Singer insisted that Kendall and her party "inadvertently forgot to take care of the bill before walking out." While he agreed that Morris did follow them out of the restaurant he insisted that "there was absolutely no scene as described in the Statements and the Tweet."
Instead Kendall Jenner "politely handed you $40" on a $33 bill and there is "absolutely no truth to your Statements and the tweet that the money was 'thrown...in your face.'"
Singer continued, "Although you are working as a waitress...I understand that you are also a struggling actress whose credits include a handful of television appearances."
He added, "You no doubt concocted a fictionalized account of your encounter with my client in order to create publicity for yourself and raise your own public profile."
