It looks like Emma Stone may be making the move to Broadway. The A-list movie star may be bringing her talents the famous stage.
According to E! News, Broadway.com reported that Emma Stone is currently in negotiations to make her Broadway debut in "Cabaret." If everything works out the bottled redhead would play British singer Sally Bowles in the hit musical.
This isn't the first time Andrew Garfield's girlfriend has been in negotiations to star in the successful Broadway production.
In April 2013, the actress came very close to finalizing a deal with the show. However, schedule conflicts with her upcoming feature film at the time forced her to pass on the opportunity and skip out on her Broadway debut.
If a deal is reached, Emma Stone would take over the role when Michelle Williams leaves the show at the beginning of November. "Cabaret" follows the story of a 19-year-old English performer (Sally Bowles) and her relationship with a young American writer.
A source told RadarOnline, "Emma is replacing Michelle in Cabaret at the end of November," adding, "Producers are hoping it helps make them back their investment and stay open for another extension because Michelle didn't do the box office they were hoping for."
The insider admitted that Stone was actually the director's first choice. The source revealed, "There's going to be a massive campaign around Emma," adding, "She was Sam Mendes' first choice, but had to drop out because Sony wouldn't accommodate the dates with Spider-Man 2."
The show is currently scheduled to play in New York City's Studio 54 through January 2015.
Meanwhile, Emma Stone has gained notoriety starring in well-known big screen films and taking on roles in movies including "The Help," "Easy A" and "The Amazing Spider-Man" franchise, where she met her boyfriend Andrew Garfield.
While many people are aware of her talent as an actress some would be surprise that she has a nice singing voice. The starlet proved that in her video from the 2004 competition show, "In Search of the Partridge Family."
