Apparently, not acting is a tough task for Robert Pattinson. The heartthrob revealed at a Meet the Filmmakers event at the Regent Street Apple Store in London that he nearly forced himself unconscious while shooting flick "The Rover."
"I like to do anything that allows me having to not act at all, so our first scene when Guy's throwing me around with the car, I actually almost knocked myself out, letting myself go," the "Remember Me" star stated.
Pattinson was joined for the discussion by "The Rover" co-star Guy Pearce, writer-director David Michôd, and a small audience.
The British actor spoke about finding his accent for the role, as he portrays a young southern American in Australia.
"I spent a lot of time thinking about the character, 10/11 months from the audition, so before we started it was fairly close to me," Kristen Stewart's ex-boyfriend said. "With this one, I started with the voice. Trying to find little vocal patterns, gimmicks, coming up with a subtext, and creating little twerks."
Pearce chimed in, adding, "I think for this film, it might have been less about the voice first but more about the physicality, how he moved."
Pearce praised his co-star's acting skills, but admitted he never saw any of the "Twilight" films.
"Sorry ladies! I saw Rob in Water For Elephants, which I thought was a lovely film and Rob did a wonderful job, looked like a movie star. I was really impressed," the actor raved.
