Dawn Richard and Aubrey O'Day of Danity Kane got into a fight Monday at the recording studio, which quickly turned physical. According to TMZ, Richard punched O'Day in the head, as Shannon Bex failed to stop the altercation.
O'Day filed a battery report following the incident.
The band announced their comeback last August when O'Day posted a promo pic on her Instagram account, captioned, "DANITY KANE is officially BACK! @danitykane #vmas2013 #Rage."
They made an official announcement at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Danity Kane's debut album dropped in 2006, featuring "Show Stopper" and "Ride For You." They appeared on "MTV'S Making the Band" in 2005 and were signed to Bad Boy Records by Diddy.
Their second album "Welcome to the Dollhouse" dropped in 2008, making them the first female group to debut their first two albums at the top of the Billboard charts.
Diddy removed members O'Day and Wanita "D. Woods" Woodgett in October that year due to group tension on the "Making The Band 4." Remaining members Bex, Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres continued on until officially calling it quits in 2009.
Fimbres is not in on the comeback, as she wishes to start a family. D. Woods did not return for the reunion either.
