"Glee" star Becca Tobin's boyfriend Matt Bendik passed away suddenly on July 10, and she spoke out for the first time about the loss on her Instagram account. Click here to see the touching snap and message.
"Thank you all for the love and support. Matt was the most extraordinary man I knew and he will live in my heart forever," she wrote alongside a picture of the adorable couple.
Bendik was found dead in his Philadelphia hotel room, but the cause has not been identified. No drugs or signs of foul play were found at the scene.
He was a nightclub owner and entrepreneur, with no serious health conditions. Those close to him believed stress played a part in the young male's early passing.
This came almost one year since the tragic passing of Tobin's "Glee" co-star Cory Monteith, who dated the show's star Lea Michele on and off screen.
According to Perez Hilton, Michele rushed to Tobin's side to comfort her at the time of the incident. She is no stranger to this type of event, and only recently moved on with model and life coach Matthew Paetz.
"It's still very new, but they are enjoying each other's company," an insider revealed to Us Weekly. "Lea's not stupid, so she's not jumping into anything. So far, it's an honest and happy relationship. Whatever his past may be, their current relationship is based on honesty."
The pair were spotted over the weekend at LA's Run Canyon Park taking a romantic hike. They met on the set of Michele's music video "On My Way," off her album "Louder."
In July the two enjoyed a vacation in Capri.
We feel just awful for Tobin, and our thoughts are with Bendik's loved ones at this difficult time.
