Musician Benji Madden recently spoke to People magazine about his relationship with "Sex Tape" actress Cameron Diaz.
The 35-year-old gushed over his woman and revealed that he's at his happiest state at the moment.
"I'm really happy right now. It's same for my any man, no matter what they do, it drives you. All people, I think, react the same way to the same situations... like we were saying with Joel being a father...we all want to be the best that we can be," Madden said.
The former Good Charlotte band member just got back to Los Angeles after spending some quality time with Diaz in Europe, according to the Daily Mail.
A source recently revealed to E! News, "When she was first dating Justin, the Madden brothers were around a lot. Cameron and her gang were very friendly with them. So it's not like Cameron and Benji just met. Rather, they've recently reconnected. Right now, they're totally into each other."
However, although Madden's relationship with Diaz is getting stronger by the minute, having been officially labeled as a couple since June, he revealed that his family still always comes first, People reported.
"I think it affects your life, and that affects your music. Ultimately, my life revolves around my family. Everything I do is for them. I want my family to be happy. And so that has been a life change over the last few years," he explained.
When it comes to his musical career, Madden confirmed the upcoming release of his newest album, "Greetings from California" this coming September 16.
Madden shared that most of the songs in the album are based on his personal life and experiences. "Musically, it's been three years of an artistic kind of exploration. True exploration. We're expressing ourselves. This is how we are now. This is where we're at. And this record says everything about our lives now."
