We learned earlier this week that Beyonce and Solange could have another secret sibling, and the woman in question is actually a close friend of the younger Knowles! TaQoya Branscomb alleges Matthew Knowles fathered her daughter in 2010, and is demanding a DNA test. Solange had no idea!
Branscomb also hit Matthew for child support and legal fees, while Matthew knew at the time she was friends with Solange. They met through a stylist in 2008 and were pictured partying on multiple occasions.
Matthew was forced to admit in 2010 he fathered Alexsandra Wright's son Nixon. News led to his split from wife Dina after being married for 31 years, and his daughters refused to attend his wedding when he remarried in June.
Solange has yet to comment on the incident, though she broke her silence on THAT elevator scandal involving Jay Z.
"What's important is that my family and I are all good," she explained, though stayed mum on what triggered the incident. "What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that."
"We've always held each other down no matter what," she told Lucky magazine. "That's something I'm drilling into (my son) Julez now."
The family released a statement following the incident.
"(T)he most important thing is that our family has worked through it," it read.
"Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward ... At the end of the day, families have problems and we're no different."
