British-Filipino host and model Georgina Wilson took to Twitter to announce that she is set to replace Nadya Hutagalung as the host of "Asia's Next Top Model."
"I've been SO excited about this announcement and been keeping it for months now! Extremely honored to be hosting ASIA'S NEXT TOP MODEL!!!!!!!!!! Career milestone!!!!" Wilson captioned the show's promotional photo she posted.
The Asian franchise of the American modelling competition created by Tyra Banks is set to return to its third cycle on Star World, Philippine Star reported.
In September, Wilson was among the Filipino celebrities Banks featured on her Instagram account with photos captioned "what it takes."
The others being Kim Chiu, Marian Rivera, Isabelle Daza and Anne Curtis, the "Blood Ransom" co-star of "American Horror Story" actor Alexander Dreymon.
Recently, Wilson was in the United States to model for American Apparel's new ad campaign. Aside from hosting and modelling, Wilson is also an entrepreneur.
During an event for Sunnies Studios, which she founded, Wilson told Manila Standard Today: "It's weird because it's almost like I can't remember life without it. It's already on its first year, and I was like, 'what?' How did that all happen?"
Further details about "Asia's Next Top Model Cycle 3" are yet to be announced except for the panel of judges. Wilson will be joined by Joey Mead King and Alex Perry, who is also one of the judges of "Australia's Next Top Model."
Meanwhile, Perry recently talked about dressing models Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid and actress Sandra Bullock.
"Dressing Gigi Hadid for the Melbourne Cup this week was a highlight. We dressed Kendall Jenner recently which was fun because she's so young and fresh. We also dressed Sandra Bullock. That was really exciting," Perry told The New Daily.
The designer also shared his preference of eyewear.
"I love providing a contrast, like wearing a classic shape with messy beach hair," he said.
